Tron DVD
Tron DVD was fully liberated from arms of my parent after my 16th birthday and I wanted to travel and explore the world. However, I didn’t like the idea of travelling alone and I needed a partner to travel with, a girl whom I can love, trust and enjoy each other company. I never thought of this before my 16th birthday, had no idea how to find one and needed go back to my father for man to man advice, he gave me an advice which sounded easy but difficult in practice. His first suggestion was to ask a girl out on date for a movie which is an ideal ice breaker according to him. Well, after numerous adverts on Tron DVD that has been released and rated highly by my friends, I decided to watch them at Cinema before buying them.
So I managed to ask a girl out, Sarah Housego, who was a movie fanatic which helped me to ask her out without trying too hard! So on the next day, we went to watch Tron. I expected the movie to be of high quality with strong story line according to my friends who rated them and told me that it is the movie I should watch before I die!! It was a spectacular start, where it kept you on edge of your seat by keeping us in suspense until fireworks ending. God it was so awesome and it also helped me and Sarah to have a lengthy conversation after the movie that got us together closer and closer until I manage get a kiss!! Boy what a great start on my first date, great movie, great girl and great kiss, what more can you ask for?! When I got home and before I went to sleep, I thought to myself that I would wake up and immediately get Tron DVD at any cost!
Went to the DVD store and got Tron DVD at cost of £9.99. Decided to watch it again as it contained special features which I can go through for further analysis of the movie. The movie was an indicative of Lang Metropolis and Space Odssey 2001 by Stanley Kubrick. Tron was awesome which reminded us of the time before series of special effects took over such as Matrix and Jurassic park where human were able to bring the movie alive with their creative skills rather than computer’s digitally correct ideal. Tron was more about how human can utilised their fantasy by being a computer game character in the computer console and live as a character!
Tron DVD
The story of Tron, is about a computer game developer, Kevin, who is at war with his boss for stealing games he created where the boss passed them off as being a creator and a developer. He got to morphed into a character and sent into the company main’s computer by the virus software called Master control set up by his boss. He is joined by his girlfriend and Tron who is a safety system where they all team up against the Master control who is dictator to get the system back on normal and at the same time getting evidence against their boss. So basically it is a war between good people and a bad dictator, god what a colourful and innovative movie with so many twists on the way. Tron DVD got bonus features to get more idea of the movie.
Tron DVD offer special features, where you can set up for subtitles in any language, get to see deleted scenes, interviews on cast members and the directors on the story about Tron. It is not the greatest movie of all time but it does rank high, however it is my perception and I am sure a lot of people will agree or disagree with. I will forever cherish and love this movie as an instrument used to net me a girlfriend for life! Look like I may buy another DVD on Tron as a gift for her on her birthday!
